Welcome to UPenn High Energy Physics!
This is the repository of information of Penn's HEP work.
--->Slides<--- for presentation
LHC Upgrade work includes Penn_SiGe_Measurements and SiGe Design LAr Shaper Block
ATLAS work includes ATLAS_TRT_TRIGGER at Level 2, TRT_PERFORMANCE, and TRT_Athena_Monitoring
CDF work includes SUSY and Higgs searches, as well as a measurement of the WZ crosssection by Justin (WZ Log), that uses the Roma Neural Net B-tagger inside topLJAcc by Justin (RomaNN Log), and optimization of tau based L2 Trigger by Elisabetta.
Projects relating to the ILC are the following: We are working on building and testing a feedback system to detect the microphonics using the Piezo Tuner and correct for the resonant frequency of the acceleration cavity using Piezo Crystals. The Tuner Parts and Drawings are here. This will be a fast tuning system to correct for Lorentz detuning and Mechanical Resonances. To do accomplish this, we have a Two-cell Cavity Test Station from Cornell with a Blade Tuner from DESY/INFN.

We are also working on building a hardware Real Time Simulator using a Lyrtech FPGA (Field Programable Gate Array) board. As well we have a software simulator called Penn Virtual Cavity.
Talks, papers, and links for LLRF and tuners (ILC)
These are various resources that explain the projects we are working on, in varying amounts of details. Some of these are overviews, but others are technical papers. Some are from other labs, such as Fermilab, SNS, and Tesla.

IMPORTANT: If you upload a new version of a FILE (as opposed to a picture), the link still link to the old one. So if you're looking for data that has been analyzed and can't find it, make sure you're looking at the most recently updated version of the file.
